The Faculty of Environmental Protection are carried out three amphibian monitoring’s by the on selected sections of state roads at the area of Gabrovčec, Jeprca nad Gornji Dolič. Amphibian monitorings are carried out in the spring period, on the selected sections and in theirarea of influence in order to: (i) study the presence of amphibian species (biodiversity); (ii) assess of amphibian migrations (migration routes) and road mortality; (iii) analyse the presence of suitable aquatic and terrestrial habitats for amphibians; (iv) propose the type and location of measures to reduce road mortality of amphibians.
