Publication in the journal Molecular Ecology

Prof. Dr. Elena Bužan was the lead author of an invited review article titled “Biodiversity Genomics Research Practices Require Harmonising to Meet Stakeholder Needs in Conservation”, published in the prestigious journal Molecular Ecology. In this publication, members of the European ERGA consortium call for standardizing approaches to assessing genome-wide genetic variability. They emphasize that harmonizing practices is essential for effectively integrating genomic data into biodiversity conservation and supporting stakeholders such as conservationists, policymakers, and local communities.

The publication was was supported by the Biodiversity Genomics Europe project. The full article is available at the following link: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.1111/mec.70001
