The programme includes the following:
– enrolment in the postgraduate doctoral programme (PhD) called Biomedicine, with covering of tuition fees for a 4-year study
– full time job: monthly salary, with allowance for meals, transport, annual leave
– coverage of material costs for the preparation of the dissertation work, business trips, training abroad…
Conditions:
– no more than four years may have passed since the completion of the Master’s programme
– average grade of finished study marks of at least 8.00

Research work description:
The candidate will carry out a doctoral thesis in the field of environmental toxicology in wildlife on biocide/pesticide preparations with a focus on anticoagulant rodenticides and will perform a risk assessment of poisoning with these substances in Slovenia. The work will be highly interdisciplinary and will include sampling of biological material in the field, chemical analyses in the laboratory and statistical data processing. The candidate will also receive further training at partner research institutions abroad.
