At the beginning of the month, the Director of the FEP, Associate Professor Dr Gašper Gantar, visited the partner University of Zenica to give a lecture on the carbon footprint of technical products as part of the Erasmus+ mobility programme.
He discussed with the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Ibrahim Plačić, and the Dean of the Faculty of Polytechnics, Samir Lemeš, the possibilities for further project and research cooperation.
The hosts also presented the activities of the Kemal Kapetonovic Institute, which operates under the wing of the University. According to the Director of the Institute, Mustafa Hadžalić, and the Head of the Environment Centre, Halim Prcanović, they have been measuring air, water and soil quality and waste for 60 years. Recently, they have been focusing on air measurements. They also visited and tested university laboratories.
