Erasmus+ Opens the Door to an International Research Environment

The Erasmus+ programme offers young people valuable opportunities to gain new knowledge, practical experience, and professional connections that strengthen their ability to meet future academic and career challenges.

A good example of such successful cooperation is the partnership between the Faculty of Environmental Protection and Transilvania University of Brașov, Romania. A student of Industrial Environmental Engineering and Environmental Protection completed part of his professional training at our faculty, demonstrating how international cooperation can effectively support the development of research skills and professional growth.

In recognition of his successful work, he presented the results of a comparative study on microplastics in aquatic environments at a workshop held as part of the 14th International Conference on Materials Science and Engineering – BRAMAT 2026 at Transilvania University of Brașov. In his presentation, he also highlighted the importance of the Erasmus+ programme in fostering research development, international networking, and the exchange of knowledge and good practices.

We sincerely congratulate him on his excellent work and presentation, and we look forward to future joint publications, continued research cooperation, and new success stories arising from international partnerships.
