The Faculty of Environmental Protection participated in the Informativa education fair, which this year was held for the first time at Cankarjev dom. The fair offered visitors an overview of educational opportunities and a chance to connect directly with educational institutions.
At its exhibition stand, the faculty presented its activities and the study program Environmental Protection and Ecotechnology. Visitors were able to obtain information about the course of study, practical training, program content, and employment opportunities after graduation. Special emphasis was placed on current environmental challenges and the role of ecotechnologists in addressing them.
The Faculty of Environmental Protection educates ecotechnologists who, by integrating natural sciences, technical knowledge, and social sciences, contribute to the protection of natural resources, reduction of environmental burdens, and development of sustainable solutions. Graduates are qualified to work in areas such as waste management, water and air treatment, environmental monitoring, nature conservation, environmental policy development, and the creation of environmentally friendly technologies and products.
| The Faculty’s Open Days will take place on Friday, February 13, and Saturday, February 14, where prospective students can obtain additional information about the study program. |
