On Friday, 29 September 2023, the 11th Researchers’ Day organised by the Regional Study Centre was held on the platform in front of the Celje Central Library. Once again, the Faculty of Environmental Protection took part in the event.
This time the theme was marine litter. For a long time now, it is not just small boats that have been sailing the seas. Under the title Marine litter is not the litter of the sea, we drew visitors’ attention to the pressing issue of marine litter, which the Faculty, in cooperation with the Department of Geography at the University of Zadar, has been researching since 2018. Visitors were invited to participate in an illustrative display and an educational leaflet.
