Erasmus+ Staff Mobility in Georgia

Prof. Dr. Kristijan Breznik Completes Erasmus+ Staff Mobility in Georgia

Kristijan Breznik, Ph.D, Full Prof.,  completed an Erasmus+ staff mobility for training at Batumi State Maritime Academy in Batumi, Georgia, from 15 to 19 June 2026.

The main purpose of the Erasmus+ staff mobility in Georgia was to exchange knowledge and experience and to establish new connections for teaching, project-based, and research cooperation. During his visit, Prof. Dr. Breznik met with the academy’s management and academic staff and exchanged experience in teaching, research, mathematics, and statistics.

He also presented the Faculty of Environmental Protection, its study programmes, research activities, and opportunities for international cooperation. The presentation led to concrete discussions on future project and research collaboration, particularly in the field of microplastics.

Erasmus+ staff mobility contributes to the internationalisation of the faculty, the professional development of its employees, and FVO’s active participation in the international higher education and research community.
