The conference focused on four key themes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analytical approaches for microplastics in organic-rich matrices<\/li>\n<li>Sources, fate, and transport of microplastics in the environment<\/li>\n<li>Impact assessment and risk evaluation of microplastics and related additives<\/li>\n<li>Project networking and collaboration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our team contributed <strong>two presentations<\/strong>:<br \/>\n\u2714 Highlighting the <strong>PLASTIX project<\/strong> and our innovative solution addressing the challenges of microplastic sampling in smaller watercourses.<br \/>\n\u2714 Presenting <a href=\"https:\/\/fvo.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/E-POSTER_Skolnik-Skrabe-etal_Communicating-Microplastics-Science-through-Education.pdf\" class=\"mtli_attachment mtli_pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>\u201cCommunicating Microplastics Science through Education\u201d<\/strong><\/a>, showcasing our Erasmus+ projects that communicate microplastics science through education and raise awareness of its environmental and health impacts.<\/p>\n<p>We are proud to be part of this important international community, which strives to better understand and mitigate the impact of microplastics on the environment and human health.
